Katie, when we first moved to Rockport, Texas we suffered terribly the first spring when the live oaks bloomed. Neighbors told us to take a teaspoon of local honey, has to be local, each day. And lightly coat the inside of your nose with petroleum jelly/Vaseline. Worked like a charm! Now that we are living on the Gulf Coast in Alabama we are still dosing ourselves with honey and Vaseline.

DeleteThe Fall…one of my all-time favorites!!!
ReplyDeleteDearest PEN, I live for your Friday home tours. And appreciate the summer cocktail recipes which will be very helpful as I resume cocktail night at Snowberry this summer. We loved The Fall and only discovered it recently as well. You may also enjoy The Tower. xo

Thanks for letting us know about Mini Reni, Joanna is the gift that keeps on giving, love her. Cheers to you and your Friday files! KTG
ReplyDeleteLove those colorblock linens! Very pretty table! And I wish I could wear some of the cute dresses shown this year with the puffy sleeves, but omg, they swallow me whole and make me look like a jack-in-the-box. I cannot wear puffy shoulders!
