I hope that all is well in your world. Are you used to the time change yet?  We are getting there little by little.

Today, I am off to check out a new restaurant in our little village with a friend in our 'hood. I am cautiously optimistic.

I hope all is well in your world.  Last weekend we celebrated Miss Lucy's second birthday.  We were blessed with picture-perfect weather, and Lucy's house was decorated in Lucy and her Mama's favorite color.

 I hope all is well in your world.  North Texas is in for some early Spring weather.  The Mister is off to knock 'em dead at pickleball.  In the old days, when he was off to do something physical, I would bid him goodbye with the words, Good luck!  Now I say BE CAREFUL!

I hope all is well in your world.  For my friends in the Northeast, I remember those wicked snowstorms.  I feel your pain. 

I checked a few things off my to-do list this weekend.  I voted in the primary.  Texas has gone back to paper ballots.  Nothing like taking the system backwards.  After I filled out the ballot, I proudly handed it to the lady who put it through the machine.  In less than 30 seconds, it spat it back out.   The disappointed lady told me I failed to fill in two of the bubbles fully.

Our weekend was busy.  We met the Adorables for lunch on Friday at P.F. Changs. We hadn't been there for quite a while, and my lettuce wraps were positively delish.  And the company was delightful.

I hope all is well in your world.  Our world has grown much warmer.  Yesterday we had temps in the 60's!   It got rid of all the ice.  I can now officially join the human race again!

Speaking of getaways... I got out yesterday for the first time in six days.  I had my roots done.  I was sick of wearing my hat everywhere.

I hope that all is well in your world and you are staying warm.  We are going on Day 5 of hunkering down.  I am happy to report that we are surviving our forced homebound status.  I only had to call the divorce lawyer twice.

I hope all is well in your world.  Are you ready for Snowmegeddon?  Thanks to the Mister, we are well-equipped.  Our generators are powered up, the chargers are charged, we have buckets of batteries, numerous flashlights in every room, enough non-perishable food, water bottles, and wine to supply an army, and a state-of-the-art first aid kit.

It doesn't look like things will warm up for a while.  Lucky for me, I am playing pickleball indoors today.

I hope that all is well in your world.  We are in for a bitterly cold weekend, which is fine with me.  I'm reading a good book, and my hairdresser told me to watch this cute romcom.

The Mister came home from his pickleball game with a shiner.  I told him that he looked like a tough guy.  The rest of the day was spent with him doing a bad imitation of  Tony Soprano.

I hope all is well in your world.  It's a bit brisk here in North Texas.  I put on four layers for my walk, and I was still freezing.

The Mister suggested that I should take it up a notch and move faster.

I hope all is well in your world.  I had a busy week.  I played pickleball on Tuesday.  It was a beautiful day, but my athleticism was anything but pretty.  Have you ever had one of those days when you feel that your shoes are on the wrong feet?  That sums up my game in a nutshell.
