Happy Black Friday!  I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Any day where all our birdies are in the nest feasting on the Mister's delicious dinner is a good day in our book.

I hope that all is well in your world.  We've had some much-needed rain around here, which I love because there is no self-inflicted guilt trip attached to skipping my daily walk.

We had a wonderful dinner at one of our favorite couples' homes on Friday night.  The hosts are the consummate entertainers.  The food was divine and the company delightful.

I hope all is well in your world!  It is bright and sunny in ours because our # 2 arrived safely home from Singapore.  I took my first breath of relief very early this morning.

I hope all is well in your world.  Our world was hit by some freezing temps yesterday.  Instead of sitting on the patio last night, we were sitting by the fire. 

Happy Veterans' Day to all the brave men and women and their families!  Thank you for your service.

On Sunday, we headed down to Lucy's house to celebrate our favorite son-in-law's birthday.  We also brought an early Christmas present for Little Lucy.

I hope all is well in your world. This week flew by for me.  I played a little pickleball, had a delightful lunch with a dear friend, and had my hair highlighted. Oooops...I shouldn't have said that - you probably thought I had natural highlights.

November Books

I hope all is well in your world.  As always, Halloweeners were sparse around my neck of the woods.  Looks like the Mister is going to have to get rid of all his favorite candy all by himself.

Yesterday, we spent a delightful afternoon with the Adorables.  For those new here, they are my son-in-law's parents.  We had a delicious lunch at Rick's and did a little shopping around the McKinney Square.
