Designer of the Day: Caroline Stevenson

I hope that all is well in your world.  We had a wonderful weekend.  Saturday was spent with our favorite granddaughter and her Mommy and Daddy. The Mister helped Adorable Jonathon put some outdoor furniture together.

And then I taught Lucy how to put toys in her Mama and Daddy's cart.

We watched this movie, and it was pretty good.

We binged this nailbiter.

Let me introduce you to Caroline Stevenson.  She is such a bright star on my Instagram feed.  Caroline has that special touch when it comes to nurseries and children's rooms.  As you will see, all of her designs have left no detail behind.

Classically Current Design 

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Caroline Stevenson is a residential interior designer known for her signature style, an elegant blend of traditional charm and contemporary ease, or as she calls it, Classically Current. Her work is rooted in the belief that a home should be a personal haven: layered with meaningful pieces, effortlessly functional, and a true reflection of the people who live there. 

The above gorgeous secretary was her great-grandmother's.

With a warm, collaborative approach, Caroline empowers her clients to move beyond “analysis paralysis” and make confident, thoughtful design decisions. She has a keen eye for mixing old and new, creating spaces that feel collected, curated, and deeply personal. 

Caroline offers full-scale interior design, space planning, and virtual design services, meeting clients wherever they are in their design journey. One of her most requested specialties is designing children’s rooms and nurseries: spaces that nurture imagination, evolve with growing families, and blend seamlessly with the home’s overall aesthetic.

This is Caroline's new office, which is a recent addition.

Inspired daily by her husband and their two young daughters, Caroline designs with both beauty and practicality in mind, proving that elevated design can still be livable.
