Pillow Talk

 

In case you are wondering, we are still on baby watch.  Every morning, we get up at 5AM, and the first thing we do is check our Mama-to-be's location.  We talk to her every evening, and she is feeling great.  She told me that she loves being pregnant, but she can't wait to meet Lucy.

It has been warm enough to spend some time out on the patio.  Nobody is happier than Miss Millie.

I hope that you had a good week.  All is well here.  We are still on baby watch.  While our Mama-to-be is getting restless, our little Lucy seems to be getting more comfy in her little nest.

Speaking of nests, I took some pics of the nursery last weekend.  Coco from Beck Interiors helped our Mama-to-be design this darling room.

I hope that you had a good weekend.  We met our dear friends, Miss Deb and Sir Rex, at my new favorite restaurant, Joey's. 

They enjoyed our favorite appetizer, hummus and tzatziki, with crispy pita chips, as much as we did.  As always, it was great fun catching up.

Did you have a good Valentine's Day week?  The Mister and I celebrated at one of our favorite hotspots, R&D Kitchen.  Thirty-four years ago today, the Mister became the luckiest guy in the world when he popped the question in NYC.  I played hard to get - it took me half a millisecond to say yes.

After lunch, we stopped by to see #2 and check in on Lemmy, who had been spayed last week.  I am happy to report she is healing nicely, is back to her old self,  and is cone-free during the day.

I hope that you had a wonderful weekend.  Did your team win?  We met our dear friends, The Adorables, for lunch on Saturday.  On Sunday, we laid low and spent most of the day reading our books and watching a little bit of the Super Bowl.

I don't know about you, but this week just whipped by.  That usually doesn't happen during my least favorite month of the year.

I played pickleball for the first time in 3 months!  I took some time off so that my fellow picklers could catch up to my razor-sharp skills and state-of-the-art form.

Evidently, they spent their extra practice time honing their cheating skills.

I hope that you had a productive week.  North Texas was blessed with some gorgeous weather.  I've gotten back into my daily walk routine, which is my mood elevator.  At least, that's what the Mister tells me.
