Stocking Stuffers

I hope all is well in your world.  It was grey and cold this weekend, so we made it all about movies.

Hamnet arrived in the theaters with a lot of hype, which was well deserved.  The two popular actors gave Oscar-worthy performances.  It is very sad, though, so pack the tissues.

We watched The Family McMullen, which is the sequel to The Brothers McMullen, which I enjoyed very much.  This has a great cast of characters and is very uplifting.

This is another fun movie that is light and fun.

It looks like Christmas may be cancelled at Lucy's house.

Here are some stocking stuffer ideas for your viewing pleasure. Almost all the items are under $30.

I bought this body butter on GMA Steals and Deals several months ago, and I instantly loved it.  It is very rich, absorbs quickly, and does wonders for my dry skin.  It has a light vanilla scent. I just placed my third order.  The best part is the price.

A few years ago, I sat next to a lovely lady on a flight.  She was coloring and told me she has a high-pressure job and uses art as a stress reliever.  She certainly seemed relaxed, so it must be working.

Clearance Under $20.

This is my little travel sound machine that never lets me down.

I have a friend who always packs this when she travels.

For a person like me, who carries stress in the neck and shoulders.

For the pill popper in the family.

I use this before my foundation to prevent pilling.
My #1 uses it too.
The sale is still on.

Great price!

The Mister bought me this trunk organizer when he found my pickleballs and water bottles flying all over the trunk. He loves to give me helpful gifts.

Speaking of pickleball...

Custom book ornament

I need to get this one.
I know exactly who I will give it to, and his name begins with Mister.

Amazon

I know I sound like a broken record, but this is the superhero of package openers.

Heated mats are all the rage lately.

Let the Forced Family Fun begin!

Safety first!

The Mister calls my purse the Bermuda Triangle.  Last year, he gave me a purse light, and I threw it in my purse.

I haven't seen it since.

For the newly engaged.

For the coworker who always wants to get the party started!

Go ahead, be the cool aunt.

Perfect pasta every time when he sings "That's Amore!"

Angry Mama makes an appearance on one of my gift guides every year.

  1. Oh my gosh, I don't think my youngest sat on Santa's lap until he was three. He wouldn't go near and that was fine with me. My older son who is 14 months older would sit on anyones lap. :=) My favorite picture is when they finally sat on Santa's lap together smiling. Definitely worth the wait. Now they are 44 and 45.

  2. Lucy! On my goodness, that is a picture! Love her smocked green Christmas tree dress. Just heard about Medicube skin care this week. Tempted by Glow Getter Body Oil Butter. I read Hamnet when it came out and am interested in seeing the movie. We just watched Untamed on Netflix and liked it. Melissa B

  4. We can laugh now at the picture of Lucy, I feel for the parents of crying children. Our way around it when our 2 were little was to get in the photo with them. It worked. Rita

  7. Hamnet is getting rave reviews but I don't like sad when I go to a movie but will see the other two you recommend. And speaking of sad...poor Miss Lucy. I hate to say this at Lucy's expense but that is the money shot if there ever was one! You had me at disco ball Katie! So many fun memories of us in our Disco Era and my 'fever' is still going strong! Give Sweet Lucy extra hugs for me. KTG
