I hope all is well in your world. This is my last blog post until September. I will make a concerted effort to make an appearance on Instagram at least once a day. I will keep you abreast of my adventures, good sales, and wonderful books that I am reading. I will also partake in my usual self-improvement journey. Do you remember the past years when I came back in September with my head hanging low, admitting that I had fallen short of my goals? I came to realize that I enjoy talking about my aspirations rather than actually doing the rigorous exercise routines, organizing closets, reading the Classics, learning a new language, and sharpening my pickleball skills.
I am adding one more item to the list. I am going to use my new face and neck mask three to five times a week. I can already hear your oohs and aahs.
I know jealousy when I hear it.
If I don't look like my old self by September, I'm calling it quits!!

Have the best summer, Katie, and scrap that ambitious To Do list! Life is short; enjoy family, friends and great weather. If doing nothing makes you feel guilty (😂) encourage the Mr. to write an appetizer cookbook. See you in September, Jo 😎
ReplyDeleteHope September treats you kindly. I have been using G1 Practice as a simple daily drill instead of another ambitious routine.
DeleteEnjoy the September reset. I have been using Exact Statement to turn PDF bank and credit-card statements into import-ready CSV and Excel files.
DeleteI feel like school is over and we are going to different summer camps! Just a tad bit sad! Have a wonderful time, and we’ll compare notes on basket weaving, rowing, and boys!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful summer Katie. I still read a few blogs even though I ended mine. Adore yours and your quick wit, seeing your beautiful daughters and let’s not forget your precious granddaughter. You are so fortunate to have the hubby you do by the way…HE IS A CATCH. SEE YOU IN September…Janey (Thick and Thin)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendations. Have a lovely summer.
ReplyDeleteI read that those masks work better if worn when out of the house, now the trend is folks wearing them at the mall, supermarket, etc...

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful and relaxing summer break, Katie! It is so important to step back, unwind, and enjoy family, friends and great weather without stressing over to-do lists. During quiet summer afternoons, I love relaxing with some classic browser games over at BVNPlay to pass the time. Wishing you all the best and looking forward to your return in September!

ReplyDeleteKatie, thanks for all the great reading and lifestyle recommendations over the year! Have a wonderful and relaxing summer break. If anyone is looking for an engaging story to read or play through, I recently came across Nate Hand Gesture, a psychological horror visual novel that was really intriguing.
ReplyDeleteKatie, enjoy a genuine summer rest. If you want gentle movement instead of another ambitious routine, I have been using Taichi Walking for low-impact walking practice.
