The other day I knew my daughter was on the interstate and I did hear from her when she was on her way home. I calculated what time she'd get home and asked her to text me when she got there. After a 3 hour delay of when she should have arrived home I started texting/calling but couldn't get in touch with her. So I called my granddaughter's phone and son in law's phone...no one answered! Of course by then I called hubby at work all in a frenzy about not hearing from them sure they'd been a horrible accident. I started looking online to see if there'd been any recent accidents in that area of the interstate....in other words driving myself crazy! Finally heard from her, she'd been napping with my 2 year old grandson! I've told her and my son (who is good about letting me know when he gets home from a trip) karma is going to get them one day when their kids start driving. I obsess over everything - and thanks for letting me know it only gets worse..ugh. I think I would have to choose San Juan. I love the Caribbean and that was the first island we took our son to when he was just one. That was during our stage of "just because we have kids, we are still going to travel"... Well, traveling with a baby in the Caribbean wasn't as easy (or as fun) as we had planned. Luckily, it has gotten much easier as the boys have gotten older. That "baby" just turned 13 last week! Time sure does fly! You never fail to make me laugh with your entertaining posts! I took the quiz and I am a Kanga. I guess that was pretty accurate. Love the golden retriever with skates. A funny thing is, I had just finished writing my own post and then started getting caught up reading others' posts. My specialties were: Kraft Mac & Cheese with frozen peas, frozen pizza with frozen peas, and Hot Pockets with you-know-what. No matter how "kid friendly" the Mister would make his cooking the girls were not interested. They thought their Mom was a better "cooker" than their Dad. They have since changed their minds. He lives down the road (about a mile down the road) from Rick's brother. We drove by the driveway multiple times and I looked for him in Pittsfield and Lenox... so far, no sightings. But when we head to MA in March, I'll be on the lookout again! (I suspect you're pretty far from Marlborough, aren't you?)
