Pettengill Farm - Take 2

Hello dear friends.  Remember that word I mentioned a few times on this blog with utter disdain?  It's back.  Hellooooo Nor'easter.  It's never too soon for you to disappear again.

Here is Part 2 of the Pettengill Farm Holiday Fair post.  If you missed Part 1 you can find it here.   Pettengill Farm hosts a few Vintage Bazaars a year.  This fair was definitely worth the drive and I look forward to going back for the next one.

Is this not the cutest?

The next photos were taken in the greenhouse that housed all of Pettengill Farm's plants.  I had an absolute field day!

The Farm staff was very hospitable.  It was apparent that they enjoyed the fair as much as the guests.

Cute idea.

I bought a few of these darling topiary trees.

I love the way they look in my windows.  Now, if I can manage to keep them alive until Christmas...

Back to the fair...

When I saw this, I thought of all my tarnished silver pieces stored away.  Note to self:  buy a truckload of silver polish.

Darling way to sell vanilla.

Now it's time to satisfy my humble assistant, the Mister's sweet tooth.

Stay warm & dry!

PS Once your silver is shined don't forget the aluminum foil trick!

  6. I love the wreaths and topiaries! That Holiday Fair would have landed me in the poor house. I want it all.:) I would love to have those three windows in my dark kitchen. Your kitchen is lovely. Sympathies go out for the Nor'easter. Having barely survived my two-week trip across the northeast over Thanksgiving holidays I hope I never see another smidgeon of snow/ice this winter. Thanksgiving Day it was a lovely high of 7 degrees in Minnesota, but the "feels like" had it in the negatives. Here at home it was 71 degrees and I tortured myself by looking at our temperature every 5 minutes on my phone app. I thought about blogging about how miserable I was, but hate to have all the spousal unit's family read how ungracious I am so I'll just vent here (lucky you). It was an icy HELL! I'll get right on the task of blowing some warm air towards you. In the meantime, tell the Canadians to shut their windows.;)

    1. I'm with you Dee... I detest the cold and when it's mixed with snow and rain it's miserable. Enjoy your sunshine.

  8. Love the wood box with the holly berries inside. Very Christmas-y.
It's going down low enough tonight to finally turn on the heat, but no where near what you will get. Cozy up!

  12. I love all the topiaries and succulents! They remind me of a lovely succulent arrangement that I received as a gift with the promise that it required very little care and was basically un-killable. You guessed it...the contents of that poor innocent planter were dead in a month. The very amused gift giver replaced it with an exact artificial replica. Stay warm and dry, my friend!!
