Wedding Wednesday

Today we are going to cover the actual act of asking a bridesmaid to be in the wedding.  Sista was my only attendant in my wedding.   I think I called her and told her Mom would kill me if I didn't ask her to be in my wedding.  She informed me Mom would kill her if she didn't say yes to being my Matron of Honor.  End of story.

Things have certainly changed.  It just amazes me how clever people can be.  Especially brides with a mission.

Great idea!  If the prospective bridesmaid has any doubts about participating, she'll definitely soften after drinking this bottle of vino!

It would take me days to figure out what the bride was trying to tell me because I stink at crossword puzzles.

I love this folded card idea.  What bride doesn't want her bridesmaids to look fat and not as pretty?

The idea behind this one is to distribute Lilly calenders to the prospective bridesmaids with all the important wedding events in the future written in.  Then the bride inserts "bridesmaid" on her wedding day.

Cute to buy - I would never be able to make it!

So pretty.  I would probably eat mine before I read it though.

No, we don't have different fathers, we just look like we do!

May your day be filled with saying Yes!

  5. These are AMAZING!!!! I want to be 20 again and planning out all these life changing events, when I was doing it, there was no pinterest, blogs for inspiration, online photo albums, PHOTOSHOP (VERY important), all of these nifty little ways to ask a bridesmaid to be in your party...I am jealous of all the 20 and 30 year olds out there planning their weddings.....hum, maybe I can ask Mr. to do it all over again:)

  6. I have to agree with Vicki...had no clue they went to that extent to ask their best gal friends to be a part of their wedding. I mean, they just text them everything else, LOL Cute ideas!! Love the photo of you and your sista.
