Wedding Wednesday

Happy Wedding Wednesday!  This post is dedicated to the most understated, very important person at the wedding, the bridegroom.  I've also included some photos of the groomsmen.  The style for this very discriminating group has really come along way since I got married!

Very handsome and preppy.

Great nostalgic look!

Wonder if these guys went to W&L?

Tres distinguished.

Lovin' the nautical look.

This guy's name has got to be Fabio.

Summertime!!  Great boutonniere.

Love this combo.

Great looking for a summer wedding.

I'm a wee bit partial to bowties.

Traditional.

Cute idea.

Classic.

A former horned frog?

Darling!

Heck No!!!!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  1. So glad I found your blog today! It is so fun! Love these looks. I cannot decide which is my favorite. i have three daughters (23, 22 and 16) and it seems all we do is talk about weddings these days. No weddings yet!

  4. I think the style of the groomsmen can really set the tone for the wedding - you have some great choices!

  5. Great pictures! You can probably guess the ones I love...of course the classic black tuxedo, but I love the preppy blue blazers, the seersucker suits (especially with those anchor cuff links), and I love the white dinner jackets as well. I also love a bridegroom in his military uniform...Service Dress Blues, Choker Whites, or Mess Dress for Navy!

  6. I'm also partial to bow ties but, for the right time and place, I do like the striped ties in the very first picture. Simple, classic, preppy!

  7. My son's getting married at the end of the month, and I can't wait to see what he and his best buds look like. Funny not to know exactly what they're wearing, but it's so different being the MOG than it was being the MOB.

  8. Hi Katie-I agree-men's fashions have come along way since I was married myself. I still have weddings on the brain with my mom's wedding just a little over a week ago. It was so gorgeous-and at 83-she amazes me!
    Have a great week!
    xx, Heather

  11. I love all of these, except that last one. It is so fun to dream of weddings and it's nice to see that they can be more casual, too.
