Herbs

Last week, when I went over to my friend Big V's house for Book Club, I brought her this cute little garden of herbs as a hostess gift.  Wish I could say I put it together myself, but I have to give all the credit to Market Street.  She called me the next day to thank me and told me that this was the perfect gift because she enjoys using fresh herbs in her cooking.
Do you pronounce the "H" in herbs?  I don't, however Martha Stewart was on the Today Show awhile back and threw in a very heavy "H" in the word.  If it's good enough for Martha, it's good enough for me.  I may just try it sometime, but not in front of my Sista because she will make fun of me.

So today's post is all about herbs with a silent "h"...

Thank you Market Street for doing such a great job putting this together.

These are french herb choppers.  I don't chop herbs a lot but I need these.

When the Mister and I were poor struggling newlyweds, we always had Herbs of Provence in our kitchen and People Magazine on the coffee table.  Guess which one was my splurge?

Looks lovely and I am certain must smell lovely.

So pretty.

I would start drinking tea to have this look.  Herbs would not look nearly as cute in wine bottles.

Very cute idea.  I'll keep this in mind for my next wedding... only kidding, Mister.
