Lori Lynn Designs & Me

I have very exciting news (for me, at least).  Yesterday, I had my usual catch-up Real Housewives lunch with my friend, Lori Burke of Lori Lynn Designs.  I asked her if she would take me on as a client and help me with designing our master bathroom renovation.  She agreed.  Poor Lori has no idea what she's getting herself into.   I am meeting her on Tuesday to go over tile, color, and all that other delicious stuff.  Can't wait!

I thought it would be fun to blog about the whole process.  This way you can live through every blessed minute of the renovation with me.  Lucky you!!  The Mister doesn't even want to go through it with me!

Here are some pictures that I have pinned for inspiration.  In a perfect world, you would burn as many calories pinning as you would in the same amount of time on a treadmill.  In a perfect world, I would be a double zero.

Thinking about a french blue/grey and white.
Looks like Kate plus 8 could fit into that shower!

Love the looks of this marble shower and flooring.

We're going to keep the original cabinetry and paint it. Would like to purchase new hardware similar to this.

Love the color.

Great mirrors.  Lots of cabinet space.  Would have to put all those bright lights on dimmers to preserve my youthful appearance.

We need to find a new tub.  Never gave much thought to bathtubs before, but I like the looks of this one.

This wallpaper is so clean and fresh looking.  Would love that mirrored wall provided it was a "skinny" mirror.

Simply adore the wallpaper and all the natural light.

Soooo pretty.  This is heaven.  I would never leave this room if it were mine.

Hope you're having lots of fun this weekend!

  6. Loving all the blue, white and cream. That is the colors I chose in my Master bedroom. My little bathroom is not as grande, but I love the small but spa-like look and feel of it. It will be fun to follow along1
